GRAND OPENING- JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP 3-1-09

Tomorrow, Monday 3-2-09, is the GRAND OPENING of JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP here in Wichita Falls Texas. I did a post about Jim's on 2-19-09 when he was getting the shop ready. I talked to Jim today and he said he still has some odds & ends to do but will be open for business in the morning at 8 a.m. Scroll down for some updated pictures and information on the Grand Opening Special he has for you. REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE.

JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP is located at 5400 Southwest Parkway Wichita Falls Texas 76310. It is at the corner of Southwest Parkway & Barnett Rd on the northwest corner.

JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP hours will be: Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Friday-Saturday-by appointment only or call 940-232-4181 and talk to Jim

Jim & his Harley Street Glide. Jim said for the Grand Opening Special, he will remove seats & saddle bags and hand wash your motorcycle. Following the wash, he will detail the motorcycle and remove the various covers and clean those areas as well. Jim said he will treat all bikes like his personal bike and believe me, he has one sharp lookin & clean ride. The Grand Opening Special is only $40.00.

Jim's bike up on the lift. Your motorcycle will be fully secured and expertly washed & detailed. Also, Jim will be detailing ALL bikes: Harleys, BSA's, Yamaha's, Buell's, Kawasaki, Honda's and I guess even Vespa's and scooters. If you ride something exotic, take it by and show it to Jim and he will talk to you about it.

Jim's bike. He was washing his bike and fixin' to detail it when I walked in and interrupted him. But he took a few minutes and let me look around and take these pictures. Jim's bike is almost two years old and he already has almost 40,000 miles on it. He is knowledgeable about the mechanics of bikes, he rides bikes and is a very interesting person to talk to. I think you'll agree when you stop in and meet him.

Here is the table out front where you can sit & wait or sit and visit with Jim or others. I plan on gathering up a bunch of bike magazines I have laying around and taking them down to the shop and donating them to the cause. If you have any motorcycle publications you might want to donate for the enjoyment of your fellow bikers to browse through while hanging out or visiting, I'm sure Jim wouldn't object.

The first item bought for the shop by, I hope I am right in this, but if not Jim can correct me, his sister...It has button you turn on and the motorcycle rocks while a song is played.
This will conclude this post. Be sure to stop by JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP, and say hi and if your bikes nasty, give Jim some business and let him wash and detail it for you. Also, in the next day or two, he will be certified to do state inspections (Texas) on the bikes. I will be the first customer because, and I hope no local law enforcement notice, but my inspection ran out in December 08. So, let's support Jim and his new endeavor. We now have a quality detail shop specializing in bikes and we need to help keep it around.
