PGR WELCOME HOME (STEVE'S PICS) 3-14/15-09

Saturday, 3-14-09, SPC Fred Hughes returned from a 15 month tour of Iraq. The first set of pics are from that day, taken by Fred's dad, Steve, while on Ft. Sill in Lawton Oklahoma. Sunday, 3-15-09, the PGR had a Welcome Home Mission for Fred in Iowa Park Texas. The second batch of pics are of the PGR Welcome Home, taken by Steve, also a PGR member. Steve has given me permission to use his photos in this post and on this blog. Scroll down and share in these special days thru the lens of Steve's camera and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURES LARGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURES..

Thru these doors SPC Fred Hughes and his Battalion will shortly emerge, finishing off their 15 month tour of Iraq with a happy and emotional reunion with their families.

The soldiers were dismissed by the commander and were swarmed by the families and friends, giving the soldiers welcome home hugs and tearful embraces. Here is Fred getting a hug from a young loved one.
