Week 2 (Assorted Pics) Trip To Tucson Arizona

The following are assorted pics from Week 2 here in Tucson that were not put on the posts for whatever reason. Scroll down and check them out and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE...

This is the view out of Howard's back window..

Howard is also a taxidermist and here are some "sheds" he picks up out in the desert & various places

A big pic of the "Magnificent Seven" at Kevin's house. The movie was filmed out at Old Tucson.

Howard's kitchen table

Emily when Bill took her to the park for a picnic

At the Longhorn Grill, I get a picture of these Bill Fish, for Bill

they brought us chips & salsa at the Longhorn Grill as we waited for the Health Dept to reopen the restaurant due to a previous power outage

Some of the wall decorations.

A look at the Arivaca Mercantile from the La Gitana Cantina

A sign I found humorous on the wall of the La Gitana Cantina

A view down one of the roads we were on as we headed South thru the desert

This is Charlotte, our waitress/bartender ant the Ranch House Restaurant in Sonoita Arizona

This is Rick on his 87 Harley FXR out front of the Ranch House Restaurant. Said he was out riding around and had already logged 175 miles on his ride...

A view across the street from the Larien Motel in Tombstone

The newspaper that you see in a lot of Western Movies.. That paper was actually in existence back then

We stopped in the Crystal Palace and this is the bartender. All the people working in all the businesses in Tombstone, dress like the folks did back in the late 1800's..

Behind the counter at the Crystal Palace

The spot on the streets of Tombstone where Virgil Earp was shot

A stagecoach arrives...

A stage awaiting passengers

A stage leaving town

Some of the Tombstone businesses

One of the re-enactors we met. He played various rolls: one of the Earps, one of the Gunfighter's at the O.k. Corral etc...

He also owned the shirt that Chuck Connor's wore in the "Rifleman" T.V. series... Here is Bill with a picture of Chuck Connor's and the shirt..

Here he loads silver .44 bullets into the loops of his Paladin gun belt...

One of the local shop keepers..

In Big Nosed Kate Saloon, "Gold Dollar" hugs Chip. If you look at the Boot Hill Graveyard pics, there is a grave there of Margarita-stabbed by "Gold Dollar". She was an actual person back then and portrayed by this re-enactor

This is Chip & Dexter, who let us join them at their table, as the place was packed. They are from Mesa Arizona and members of B.P.M. M/C

Gold Dollar singin' to Chip

Our waitress at Big Nosed Kate Saloon

Bill was having a great time

The piano player...

Gold Dollar and Bill. That looks like a Betty Boop look if I ever saw one...On Gold Dollar that is..

Then, we had Wyatt Earp roaming around, tossing drunks out...

Here's Dale waiting his turn for a hug from Gold Dollar..

Bill & Dale at Big Nosed Kate's Saloon in Tombstone

me, Bill & Dale in Tombstone

Me, Bill & Dale

The Longhorn Restaurant Tombstone
Nellie Cashman's Restaurant/Saloon

The Six Gun City Restaurant & Saloon

This is "Shoeshines" box. He is one of the locals that goes around shining boots & shoes for a living. He dresses in era clothing

Bill & Dale at Six Gun City

Bill & Dale talk with one of the cowboy re-enactors at Six Gun City

Shoeshine talks with "Morgan Earp"

Deputy "Morgan Earp" & "Shoeshine" at Six Gun City

The last pic is of Bill getting a shoe shine from "Shoeshine". Note the dirt & gravel where we were sitting. It was like that all the way back to the street. Bill's boots were dusty by the time we made it back to the street. This will conclude this post.
