DAY 13 Trip To Tucson 5-2-09

DAY 13, Saturday 5-2-09, was Day 2 at Tombstone. We left the motel and went to the strip and then out to Boot Hill before heading back to Tucson. Scroll down for the departure from Tombstone and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE..

We walked over to the Longhorn Restaurant for breakfast. The sign on the table inside..

A stage approaches. They have folks dressed in the era clothing walking around, and stagecoaches coming in and out, gunfighters etc..If you like westerns & stuff, this is one of the places to go...

We went back to get the bikes at the motel and got to talking to these folks who we met at Six Gun City Saloon last night. This is Sue & Graham from Scunthorpe England.

We load up and head out to Boot Hill. Here is the plaque & Gate by the entrance..

Another grave.. The markers are re-creations of the original markers, but the graves are real and the folks are really buried there

The guys from the O.K. Corral gunfight are all buried here

The folks that died here from various things, that had served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, have a flag and CSA certification Marker , like this one that Bill is kneeling behind..

The last view from Day 13 is of this Harley Classic parked next to our bikes as we got ready to head back to Tucson... We had a great time in Tombstone just like we did last year..I look forward to returning again next year.
