UPDATE ON RODNEY 2-9-09

Today, Monday 2-9-09, I rode the bike up to the URHCS 11th St Campus (formally the Bethania Hospital) to see how Rodney was doing. He was still in ICU but he was awake, alert and talking. (Those prayers are working folks, keep them coming this way for Rodney & Vicki). As he was with us when I got my nickname "Snapshot" on a ride, and usually nothing is sacred with me as far as picture taking goes, I had my trusty camera in my pocket. Since he is getting better and is back to his almost normal self. I took the picture below of him all wired up, literally for sound, as he lay in bed in ICU. I got a laugh out of him when I pulled the camera out told him to expose those wires...

Here is Rodney in ICU..
He looks a heck of a lot better than he did yesterday. I told Rodney & Vicki about the prayer requests and that we had two comments so far, one from the Philippines and one from Ft. Collins, Colorado. They were very pleased and wanted to thank ya'll for the prayers. However, he isn't out of danger yet. They still have to go in and take care of the blockage to his other artery next week. So please remember him in your prayers and keep him on the prayer lists. I will put an update on the blog tomorrow. I just got word that they moved him out of ICU into a private room. OUTSTANDING!!! Until tomorrow, ya'll be careful out there, keep the rubber on the road, ride safe and keep Rodney & Vicki in your thoughts & prayers.....JOHN
