Inside the Outskirts Night Club, we not only registered for the Run and turned in toys & canned goods, but these two young ladies were selling the Run T-shirts for a reasonable price.
This young lady was collecting the toys and canned goods. She stayed busy until the truck got there
There were also all the familiar folks that you regular viewers are familiar with. Left to right: Mike, Flip & Nikki. All three are members of C.M.A. (Christian Motorcyclists Association)
Here is the registration table were waivers were signed, money collected, tickets and wrist bands given to the riders. Tickets were for the prize drawings later & the wrist bands were for the meal..
And this was a poker run also and this is the young lady that had the bag with the cards for the first draw in it..

Joe just got that custom paint job and chrome work done on his bike
I let Joe dismount and got another picture of him. Joe & my wife, Janice, work together for the City..
This is Louis and his wife..
Some of the bikes in the parking lot of the Outskirts parked to the South
Here are Ted & Inez. Their daughter Vickie was in from Ft. Collins Colorado last week. Now, Vickie and her husband Tim are back in Ft. Collins with 8" of snow on the ground..and it was warming up before the run here and many of us shed our leathers. Feel sorry for us Vickie? .... (grin)
The number of bikes start to grow rapidly
This is the second row of bikes out in the parking lot.
A shot of some bikes and the Food Barn truck that had arrived to pick up the goodies.
The Food barn Truck
They say that A.J., the owner of that trike, has been to Sturgis twice on it already..
Some of the folks milling around until the ride started at 1 p.m.
More bikes to the South.
Here is Big Mike with a fellow biker in the Outskirts. Mike is now a prospect for the Boozefighters Chapter 28.

As I walked to the fire truck, Doug pulled in on his Harley and was all grins as usual.

In amongst the bikes
Here is Mike & I....We used to work together until I retired in 2004. Now he works with my son, Matt.
Here is Dennis & his new bike. In some of the past posts, he had the yellow Harley.
Here is Dennis & Moe at their new Harley. It's a 2006 but a new bike for them...Didn't want any of you to come back on me for saying it was new. I will say this, Dennis & Moe's Harley is spotless & in showroom condition and looks brand new.
Standing in the middle of the 2nd line and third line of bikes..
Here is Mike as he scans the crowded parking lot
That row out front was the 4th row..
Here is Doug, Louis's wife & Louis
Here are Doug (beard), Joe in the middle and a friend on the end.
This is Tina & Kimmy. Together with Mike & Bob, they were having way too much of a good time..They are some great folks and I enjoyed meeting and riding with them...
And here they are: Tina, Mike, Kimmy & Bob..Look forward to riding with ya'll again..
And this is the view in front
At one of the stops, I see Ted and he introduces me to his son, Ted Jr. Ted Jr. says Ted Sr. wears everyone out when they ride. Ted Sr. will ride 50 miles for a cup of coffee..
Inside the club, I see these folks having even a better time than out in the parking lot before the ride started. Left to right: Bob, Kimmy, Tina & Mike.
The line outside the Lazy Dog Saloon as we wait for our turn at the cards. The folks with the Santa hat's are Flip & Nikki
As I walk out, I take a picture of the line waiting to go in, and lo and behold, there is Doug..
This is Mike. He & his wife, Barbara, are our area PGR Road Captains and will be leading us down to DFW airport tomorrow morning to escort a soldier that died last week, back to Wichita Falls Texas for burial Monday
This is Tex with Mike. Tex is also a PGR member and I believe he will be meeting us in Decatur Texas for the escort home. Tex is a Vietnam Vet and a great guy to be around..
This is Tamara & Joe. Joe is another former co-worker of mine and a fellow Blue Knight TX XX member. He is a lot of fun to be around and I enjoy riding with him..
I had a brain fart and didn't take any pictures at stop 4. So, here is stop 5 at the Elk Lodge on Seymour Hwy and some of the bikes.
Inside, we picked our 5th and final card for our poker hand. Needless to say, my hand sucked and was totally worthless
I got to looking around and I saw Joe at one of the tables minus Tamara. But she arrived with a snack just as I was leaving..Train her right Joe!! They really make a good looking couple..
We made it to the end of the ride, the Eagle's Lodge out on Seymour Hwy & Barnett. Here is a view of the bikes from way in the back where we had to park..
Here are Dennis, Moe, Charlotte & Charlie. They were fixin' to go grab a bite to eat as it was still an hour or so until we were to be fed at the Eagle's Lodge. I left before they returned but it is always a pleasure riding with Dennis & Moe & I look forward to riding with Charlotte & Charlie again.
Here is the row of bikes as seen from Seymour Hwy. That was maybe 2/3 of the bikes if that. More were coming in as I went inside the Lodge and as I was leaving a while later..
This is Rudy and Jodie, the owners of Motorcycle Leathers & More. They purchased the business from Leonard, who is from Chattanooga Okla. Most of you will remember Leonard as the gentlemen with the Leather goods at The Compassion Run this year & last year. I looked around at the merchandise and it is still priced right and they have a great selection to choose fun. So, if you're out and about on a ride or whatever and you see them set up, stop in and say hi to Rudy & Jodie and check out their Leathers & stuff. They have some pretty good deals at a fair price...
This will conclude this post. I had a great time as always today and enjoyed riding with everyone and meeting some new people. I look forward to the next event, whenever & where ever it may be.
