Look familiar? Same one that I had bookmarked a while back, at Red River Harley Davidson..

They had some good looking bikes there

Bill & Jessica at Renegade Classics. She had been bit on her right leg after her neighbors pitbull got under the fence and into her yard. It then attacked her dog and ran into her house after another dog. She was bit while trying to separate the dogs. The pitbull's owner came in & started beating her for hitting the pitbull. The pitbull has destroyed and the owner....well...ya know how that goes sometimes..

Jessica & me.. She is one great person and she runs a great business.

As we walk to the bikes, I see this business on the corner.... A Taste Of Texas Restaurant.. This will conclude Day 10. Another great day here is sunny Tucson..Look forward to tomorrow and whatever it brings...

DAY 9 Trip To Tucson Arizona 4-28-09

DAY 9, Tuesday 4-28-09, Bill felt great so we went for a ride out to The Wagon Wheel General Store in Picture Rocks and met up with Howard, one of his buddies that lives in the desert out there. Scroll down and ride with us and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE...

Bill pulls out from his alley onto Shannon Rd.

This is Ryan Field, Bill is an Air Traffic Controller there. Click on the pic and you can see the Control Tower where he works.. I spent a shift with him last year when I was here. I was an air traffic controller for 8 years....

We leave there and head for the Wagon Wheel in Picture Rocks. Some of the scenery along the way..

The Bartenders & waitress at the Wagon Wheeler, Julie & Michele

Inside the Wagon Wheel Post was a "real cowboy", Michael Wayne. He was trying to get some business as he does carving with wood. Here are Julie, Michael Wayne and Michele.

Me & Michael Wayne. He said he was barred from drinking in the Wagon Wheel due to a fight he got in there a while back. But they do allow him to come in and solicit business.

We left the Wagon Wheel Post and Bill starts going down all these sandy roads in the middle of nowhere. I had no idea where we were going. I thought of one of Charlie Manson's places...We got to a friend of Bill's, Howard, at the end of the road...

inside Howard's house. This is the first thing ya see...

Howard at his bar...

Howard, his fiancee', Rochelle and Bill

I find my kewl namesake on the counter

A view from the front porch

Howard & Bill on the back porch

Years ago, I wanted to retire and move to Arizona and live exactly like Howard is. It is beautiful out in the desert.... But I guess, living with the mesquites & prickly pears in Texas is as close as I'll get.

Rochelle & Howard on the back porch swing. Rochelle made up a bunch of brats for us to eat with chips & some great salsa.

A view out Howard's back picture window..

Bill & Howard as we get ready to leave

Howard & me as we get ready to head back toward Tucson

We get back to Bill's house a little while later and Kim was there, with Emily on her lap, talking to Jackie about the upcoming cruise. This will conclude this post. I enjoyed meeting Howard & Rochelle and look forward to seeing them again. I enjoyed the Ride today and look forward to DAY 10.
